Attention directors:
The Carolina Winter Ensemble Association would like to announce that it will be implementing the following video policy for the remainder of the 2009 season. The policy is as follows:
CWEA Video Policy
At all CWEA events, the director of each unit may designate one person to tape only their performance which is then used for instructional purposes. Each director will be given a Video Pass from CWEA at the time of registration to allow this to occur. If a director has asked you to videotape their performance, you may not bring a video camera into the arena unless you have a obtained a valid Video Pass. The taping area will be a marked off area for in the spectator area.
At CWEA Championships, NO VIDEO CAMERAS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE ARENA.
Individuals found to be videotaping without authorization or otherwise disrupting contest proceedings within the competition area will be removed from the premises without a refund of admission.
Please explain this to your parents who attend.
Should you witness any unauthorized videotaping, please report it to the contest administrator.
We want to apply this policy equally to all in attendance.
