CWEA is pleased to announce the addition of the new classification Percussion Scholastic Concert A Class (PSCA) to our 2009 competition schedule.  The PSCA criterion is defined by WGI as “concert ensembles with younger or less developed participants through the 12th grade; who wish to concentrate on the percussive element only.  Here is where the beginning concert ensemble student discovers the joy of performing and realizes the sense of achievement as each skill is learned”..

With the addition of this new classification both WGI and CWEA will now offer all three classes (A, Open and World) for concert percussion units.
