Q: How do I join CWEA?
A: You can come to the initial membership meeting in November. If you miss that meeting don't worry! All you need to do is complete the member Registration Form on the CWEA website. Once you complete the form, you will have two weeks to mail your member fees to the address on the form.
Q: What is the latest that I can join?
A: There is no cutoff for joining CWEA. Just note, all fees will increase by $25.00 per unit after December 31st.
Q: How do I get a copy of the CWEA Handbook?
A: CWEA has decided to no longer print handbooks. Instead, the handbook is available on the CWEA website at all times and will have all of the latest updates.
Q: How does my group get to compete at Championships?
A: Any unit that wishes to participate in CWEA Championships must attend one of the CWEA Premier shows AND two other CWEA shows, not including CWEA Championships. A WGI Regional contest may take the place of one CWEA show.
Q: How much does it cost to join CWEA?
A: Dues for the current season are as follows:
$375 for the first unit
$325 for the second unit
$300 for the third unit
$275 for the forth unit
$250 for the fifth unit
Units must be housed under the same organization sharing the same bank account. No scholastic unit may be paired with an indepedent unit of any kind. Any bounced checks or outstanding fees from previous seasons must be cleared prior to a unit becomming active for the current season. Non-circuit members may enter as many shows as they wish for $150 per show.
Q: Do I have to pay the show host to compete at their show?
A: No. your membership fees to the circuit cover entries to any CWEA show.
